Technology Summary |
Mold comes in contact with electromagnetic coils embedded in the upper and lower platens. Alternating currents (AC) circulate through the metal of the tool and resistance leads to the generation of heat (joule heat) from within the tool. |
Features & Benefits |
> Heat is generated from within the tool enabling heat up times to be reduced by 80% in comparison to convertional platen heating. |
> This efficient system means that electrical consumption is also minimized. |
> Mold slide enables quick and easy loading and unloading of tool. |
> Multiple safety features: over current detection, point of contact detection, front shutter, temperature limit alarms etc. |
| > Sequencer control |
| > Lightweight aluminum frame |
